| The Rio Negro and Amazon both start out a small stream But are huge when they meet and look like coffee and cream. Those who flew home from Manaus did wait, For the bus was a no show, rather than late. So taxis were summoned to pick up the slack And the passengers piled into each small little hack. The rest took a walk through the market and such, To buy lots of stuff that didn't cost very much. Manaus was a city where fast food did abound And one of the few places fat people were found.
